CT Scan Suspended for a week due to lack of X-ray film in Bir Hospita(वीरमा ‘एक्स–रे फिल्म’ नहुँदा एक हप्तादेखि...)
The ct scan service has been affected due to the absence of x-ray film at bir hospital, the country's oldest hospital. According to the hospital administration, the CT scan service has come to a standstill for a week as the suppliers did not provide 'X-ray films'.
CT Scan requires a 14-inch-long and 16-inch-wide film. However, the hospital does not even have 'X-ray films' in stock. In the absence of CT scan services, more than 100 patients are forced to return every day. Ramila Thapa of Sindhupalchowk, who was suffering from frequent headaches, was also forced to return due to lack of CT scan service. "The doctor said let's do a CT scan. However, bir has not been served for a week now," she complained. '
The entire services of the hospital have been affected due to the reduction in the budget by the finance ministry. The suppliers could not be paid the amount last year." Poudel said, "It is very difficult to manage the hospital on its own as there is no income from the hospital. ' Dr. Poudel said he would not obstruct the service even if x-ray films were brought from other companies immediately.
