Muktinath Development Bank has started making payments through QR in Nepal's transport sector.

Nepal Transport Express Pvt. Ltd. operating within the Kathmandu Valley. The bank has entered into an agreement with the bank and payment through QR code has started from today. The program was inaugurated by Bharatraj Dhakal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank.

Passengers traveling in Nepal Transport buses will be able to scan the QR code of Muktinath Bank on the bus and pay the fare digitally. The bank believes that this arrangement in the transport sector will free the country from the problem of retail currency conspiracy, increase the security of notes and help avoid corona.

To encourage digital transactions, the development bank has made arrangements to withdraw money from any of the bank's ATMs under the Visa network. Similarly, mobile banking, QR code scan, online loan application, online account opening, internet banking, remittance deposit, etc. can be done from home without attending the bank branch.
