Trail Route: The most common starting point for the hike is Godavari, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Kathmandu. From there, you follow a well-marked trail that winds through dense forests and passes by terraced fields, charming villages, and occasional viewpoints. The hike typically takes around 3-4 hours to reach the summit.

Fulchoki Hill Summit: At an elevation of approximately 2,782 meters (9,127 feet), Fulchoki Hill offers panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan range, including snow-capped peaks such as Langtang, Ganesh, and Everest on clear days. The summit also features a small temple dedicated to Fulchoki Mai(Devi).




Flora and Fauna: The trail to Fulchoki Hill takes you through a diverse range of vegetation, including rhododendron and oak forests, which are especially vibrant during the spring season (March-April) when the rhododendrons are in full bloom. The area is also home to various bird species, making it a popular spot for birdwatching 

Preparation and Permits: Since Fulchoki Hiking is a day hike and doesn't involve overnight stays, there are no specific permits required. However, it's always a good idea to carry essential hiking gear, such as comfortable footwear, water, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and a rain jacket, depending on the weather conditions.
